The Area
Located a few blocks off of Place de Clichy, you are at the crossroads of the 17th, 18th and 9th arrondisements-each with their own unique
character and charm.
You are surrounded by many restaurants, movie theatres and night life as well as a major transportation hub to take you anywhere in Paris.
We selected this location because it gives the best of so many worlds within Paris-you can reach the great nightlife in the 18th, the great
restaurants and parks in the 17th and the great shopping in the 9th-all within walking distance of your front door.
There are wonderful bakeries and grocery stores within blocks of the apartment, as well as the new 'rent a bikes' or Velib.
All of this while still enjoying a quiet street for a good night's sleep without all of the Paris traffic noises.
Location
You are situated between the Place de Clichy metro stop and La Fourche stop. The bus line has several stops right at Place de Clichy and there
are stops right on rue Ganneron as well as next to La Fourche metro.
A quick review of the metro map and bus lines will show you the many options. There is also a busy taxi stand right at Place de Clichy where
there are always cabs available.

The apartment is a recent purchase and was completely repainted and renovated.
All furnishings and appliances are brand new.
The apartment includes custom made bedroom furniture, made-to-measure silk drapes, Tiffany style light fixtures and handmade Persian carpets
throughout.
At almost 96 meters (1000 sq.ft), the apartment is quite spacious and with the two bedrooms at opposite ends of the apartment, each affords its
own privacy.
The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (in North America this is actually the fourth floor) and the building includes an elevator to take
you and your luggage to the apartment.
This is a corner apartment shaped like an L, providing windows and light from all sides.
The first room is one of the bedrooms.
It includes a handmade queen size bed with a goose down comforter along with a matching handmade armoire and nightstand.
The room includes a handmade Persian carpet, custom made silk draperies and a fireplace.
The large windows open up to a beautiful unobstructed view with lots of sunlight and a small balcony to step out on.
The second room is the living room/dining room.
The room includes custom ordered furniture, handmade Persian carpet, marble mantel surrounding the fireplace, custom silk curtains and dining
table to seat four comfortably.
The TV, DVD player and CD player can all be found in this room, along with a large walk in closet for storage.
This room boasts a window overlooking the Montmartre Cemetery, with a row of trees adding to the sense of green space and tranquillity.
Around the corner, you will find the separate water closet with its own sink and shelf for storing items.
Next to the water closet, is the shower room, which includes a huge storage closet for all of your toiletries as well as shelf space next to
the sink.
You will find plenty of towels and extra sheets in the closet. There are new windows in this room.
You will find you can open the window in different directions (leaning out, wide open or closed).
At the end of the hall is the second bedroom.
This room also includes handmade queen size bed with a goose down comforter, matching handmade armoire and nightstand, a handmade Persian
carpet and custom made silk drapes.
You will also find an alarm clock and a window that looks into the courtyard of the building in this room.
Down a small hallway from the back bedroom and shower room is the kitchen which is equipped with all new appliances including refrigerator,
stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven, washer/dryer and more.
The kitchen includes a nice breakfast bar with modern stools to enjoy a quiet meal a good book or newspaper.
The room has a window on each end of the room, providing great lighting and fresh air.
We feel in love with this apartment the first time we saw it-we loved the building, the neighbors, the neighborhood and especially the
expansive view and the extensive natural light and fresh air that flows throughout.
We have carefully selected each item for the apartment to give it that "chic but cozy" feel that we hope you will enjoy as much as we do!
