Quartier de la Gare

This Paris flat sleeps up to six adults. It is situated in a modern building with all of the conveniences that go with it. There is a small balcony off of the living room that overlooks the Seine and Parc de Bercy, on the other side of the river. It also has a lift as well as a car park. This furnished flat has three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a bathtub and handheld shower plus another one with a walk-in shower) and two separate toilets. All rooms are off of the main entryway and corridor.

When you enter the apartment, there is a corridor to your right and the open, living area to your left. The entrance to the kitchen is just before you enter the salon on your right - so across from the bookshelf with the wooden Eiffel Tower on it that you see in the photos.

The large kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast table along with the amenities listed above. Note that the fridge is a small, under the counter style. The main living area has a dining table for six, two leather sofas and access to the balcony. The spacious living area has plenty of seating should you wish to entertain. It is very bright, thanks to all of the windows and the fact that it is a corner apartment.

All of the bedrooms, bathrooms and toilets are off the corridor to the right of the entryway. The first toilet is immediately to your left followed by the first twin bedroom. Staying on the left side of the corridor, you then have the second twin bedroom followed by the master bedroom. On the right side of the corridor, there is a storage closet that houses the hot water heater, vacuum, drying rack and more. The next room on the right is the second toilet followed by the first bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bathroom with a double vanity, bathtub and douchette are at the end of the corridor.

Quartier de la Gare is the largest district in Paris and was created in 1860 with its name coming from a river station that was built in the time of Louis XV.  Today, most of the district has been modernised and it houses the most important library in France, the BNF (Bibliothéque François Mitterrand) which reopened in 1996 after major remodeling. Les Frigos is a well-known arts centre in the area. It used to be a refrigeration station but is now home to painters, sculptors, photographers, designers, and many more professions - over 120 creatives! If you happen to be in Paris around the Lunar New Year, you will have plenty of things to do as quartier is home to Paris’s Chinatown, Le Triangle de Choisy.
