This Paris holiday home was renovated in 2023 and features bright, sunlight rooms with wonderful views. There is some history to this private complex that was built in 1933 as it used to have a bathhouse that was built in 1853. Josephine Baker lived in the existing complex during World War II as did Michou, until his death.
All rooms are off the main entry with the toilet in a room immediately to your right. The shower is also on the right, just before the bedroom. There is a large storage closet to the left in the entryway.
Please note, you must take off your shoes in this apartment. The hardwood floors have been carefully renovated so the owner would appreciate you removing your shoes at the door.
The bedroom is directly in front of you followed by the living room and then, the kitchen.
In addition to a full-sized wardrobe, there is a chest of drawers and a desk in the bedroom. Although not shown in the photos, there are also two bedside tables. If you look out of the bedroom window, you will be able to see the Eiffel Tower. The bedroom can be accessed from the entryway or from the living room where there is a sliding door.
The salon has a built-in TV that raises up from the console by the window and goes back down when it is not in use. There are also speakers connected to an amplifier. You can plug in your phone or computer with an existing headphone jack to listen to music.
The kitchen has all modern conveniences including a rice cooker along with a dining area that can seat up to four people.
There is not a washing machine in the apartment but there is a public laverie about a five-minute walk from the apartment. The owner will be renovating the bathroom next and, once that is done, a washing machine will be installed.
The building, views and comfort of the apartment will probably make you want to stay in but we hope you will go out to explore the area and Paris.
