Booking Deposit
To confirm your reservation at one of our Paris furnished apartments, a 50% deposit is required. Payments are made directly to the owner and not to PerfectlyParis. If you reserve less than 60 days before your arrival, we prefer payment in full.
For long stays, we request payment of the first and last month's rent plus the security deposit. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards through an online, secure server at PayPal.com* or by bank transfer**.
*Due to the high rate of PayPal payments, a 5% supplement is added.
**We found companies like Wise.com offer reasonable exchange rates and quick transfer times.
Please note that we have a first come, first serve reservations policy. If you have sent us your rental agreement, we will hold your Paris furnished let for 48 hours maximum for time to sort out your deposit. If we have not heard from you within 48 hours, your dates may be released.
Before submitting an agreement to us, you must have written confirmation by e-mail that the Paris furnished apartment you wish to book is available for your dates.
By engaging in the rental of one of our Paris furnished apartments, you agree to the terms and conditions on our website, the Policies page and in our rental agreement.
Cancellation
We hope you do not cancel, but if you do, our policy is as follows:
60 days or more before arrival: 80% refund of your total rental price, less our €100 administration fee.
If you give less than 60 days' notice, we will try to rent the dates we blocked for you. If we are successful, we will send you an 80% refund of the total rental price, less our €100 administration fee.
If you leave an apartment before the end of your stay, we cannot refund any of your rental paid. We recommend that you have cancellation insurance. If you do not have a company you work with, insurance can be provided by our partners at ADAR.
Rental Terms, Policies & Privacy
You may check-in/out any day of the week.
Times are as follows: Check-in time: 16:00; Check-out time: 10:00.
To guarantee an early arrival (before 16:00), it may be necessary to reserve and pay for the preceding night. If we do not have someone arriving or departing on the same day as you, we try to be flexible with the check-in times.
For a check-in/out before 8:30 or after 20:30, special arrangements will need to be made and there is a charge of €60. This fee should be paid in Euros/cash directly to your greeter when you arrive at your Paris furnished apartment.
If you have chosen to stay in one of our places that rent by the calendar month, please note that check-in is on the first day of the month and check-out is on the last day of the month.
Cleaning & Linen/Towel Usage
Your Paris furnished apartment is cleaned before you arrive and after you leave without an additional fee. Should you wish to have cleaning/linen change during your stay, this is possible for an extra charge.
If your Paris furnished let is not left in a reasonable state, we reserve the right to deduct additional cleaning charges from your security deposit as mentioned below.
Insurance
In the event of theft or damage to individuals or personal belongings, PerfectlyParis and the Owners undertake no responsibility whatsoever for direct or indirect harm suffered. All valuables left at the property are done so at your own risk. All measures have been taken to ensure the rental property is secure, but it is your responsibility to ensure proper precautions are taken against theft and burglary.
It is obligatory in France to have your own multi-risk home insurance as tenant liability insurance will not be enough should a problem arise. In addition, Renters agree to indemnify PerfectlyParis, Owner or Owner's representative, for all costs, direct or indirect damages, punitive damages or other liability incurred by PerfectlyParis, Owner, or Owner's representative, resulting from any act or omission by Renters in connection with their rental.
Renters agree that PerfectlyParis and Owner's liability for all claims, of any kind, arising out of this engagement shall be limited to the total fees paid by Renter to PerfectlyParis on this engagement. No action, regardless of form, relating to the Rental Agreement or any associated engagement or service, may be brought by either party more than six months after the cause of action has accrued, except that an action for non-payment may be brought not later than one year following the date of the last payment due to the party bringing such action.
The parties agree that in no event shall either party's aggregate liability hereunder for any cause arising out of or related to such Party's performance or non-performance, monetary claim or legal action, exceed the amount of the fees paid hereunder under the particular rental agreement, excluding gross negligence or willful misconduct.
We strongly recommend you purchase cancellation insurance for your trip as one never knows when an emergency can arise. We cannot be held responsible in any way regardless of the reason you must cancel. Miscellaneous & Noise
In the rare occasion that the Paris furnished apartment you reserved becomes unavailable for your dates, we reserve the right to provide you with suitable alternative accommodations.
If construction is happening in the building where the apartment you booked is located, we will attempt to place you elsewhere as soon as possible. Work by the building itself is usually scheduled in advance. As a result, we generally have adequate time to place you elsewhere before you arrive in Paris. If there is other work in the building that we are aware of (such as painting, elevator work, etc.), we will attempt to notify you in advance so you will know before you arrive but this is not always possible.
In the case of work being done by individual residents, we are unable to know in advance and cannot be held responsible for any noise or disruption in the building. Should the latter occur, we will do our best to find you alternate accommodations but it may not be possible in every instance and additional costs may apply. In France, under 'La code de la sante publique' in article R 1334-36 work hours for renovations can happen from 7:00 until 17:00, Monday through Saturday. If emergency work is being done, it can happen outside of these hours.
It is important to realise that when renting a Paris furnished apartment you are staying around regular people who live and work in Paris. As a result, you may hear the noise of someone walking above you or other noises related to regular residents.
For the most part, there is rarely excessive noise but it can happen from time to time that someone may have a party or friends over later than normal. In this case, the polite thing to do after 22:00 is to knock on the neighbour's door and ask them nicely to be quieter.
Privacy Statement
Your privacy is important to us. PerfectlyParis will not release any of your personal details to a third party without your prior approval. We do not redistribute your name, address, telephone number, email contact to anyone else and we only use the details you provide us to gather statistical information for our website.
If you have opted to use a credit card for any payments, we do not have access to these details and the information remains strictly with PayPal. We may contact you periodically if someone wishes to converse with a previous guest. If this happens, we will email you first to see if you are interested and willing to provide comments from your stay in Paris and at a PerfectlyParis apartment. You are not obligated to agree to speak or email with someone else, even if we request you to do so.
Rental Agreement
We will send you the rental agreement for your Paris furnished apartment with additional information on how to book your PerfectlyParis let once you email us with your requested dates. Before submitting an agreement, you must have written confirmation by email that the apartment you wish to book is available for the time you wish.
Please remember that a booking is not considered confirmed until a deposit is paid and proof of payment is forwarded to PerfectlyParis.
By engaging in a rental of one of our Paris furnished apartments, you agree to the terms and conditions on our website, this Policies page and in our rental agreement.
Security Deposit
All our apartments require a security deposit ranging from €500-€1000 (Note: we do not accept cash/euros for a security deposit) for short to medium stays and the equivalent of a month's rent for long stays.
We rarely have damages but if something happens, we ask that you replace what becomes broken or damaged. Please contact us immediately should there be an issue.
The security deposit will also be applied to long-distance telephone calls not included in the apartment's phone plan, the loss of keys and/or damage of locks. Please do not leave keys in the back of the door inside the apartment. We will then need to call a locksmith to gain access and you will be responsible for these charges.
Although our rates include cleaning after you depart, if the Paris apartment is not left reasonably tidy, we will apply part or all of your security deposit toward the extra cost of cleaning.
The security deposit does not limit the tenant's financial responsibility for damage or deterioration in the apartment during the tenant's stay.
Provided all is in order when you leave, your security deposit will graciously be returned to you within 14 days of your departure.
